Pidät | Bird Silo - Slate by Mika & Julie Tolvanen
A contemporary bird feeder created specifically for modern yards! Crafted entirely from recycled plastic, including the rope, this innovative feeder embodies eco-consciousness.
Helsinki-based bird enthusiasts Mika & Julie Tolvanen designed Bird Silo, the debut product for Pidät. They meticulously observed birds' eating behaviours for years, feeding them from prototypes positioned by their dining room window during breakfast.
Designed to function like a grain silo.
Lift the top cone, pour in sunflower seeds or peanuts, and the feeder fills from the bottom up.
Design for a circular economy.
The feeder has been designed for easy assembly and disassembly. All the parts can be separated and recycled. Bird Silo comes nicely packaged in a cardboard box with no glue, making it easy to unfold.
Feeder care and bird hygiene.
Hand wash Bird Silo with soap and warm water and replace food often, especially during wet or humid weather to avoid bacteria that might harm your feathered friends. In wet weather, it is recommended to fill bird feeders with only enough food that will be consumed in a couple days.
